The Paspaley Archive

The Paspaley Archive – an interactive exhibition space within Sydney’s Martin Place boutique.

Pearling is at Paspaley’s core. Founded in 1935, we are recognised as pioneers of the Australian pearling industry. Every great company can point to a source of inspiration that set it on course for success. For Paspaley, that inspiration was the late Nicholas Paspaley Sr. MBE (1913–1984).

The Paspaley Archive takes you on the Paspaley journey – from the family’s arrival in Cossack in 1919, to the techniques that have transformed pearling globally. The experience also provides an insight into The Five Virtues – the traditional method by which Australian South Sea pearls are graded, as well as profiles the rarity and value of these unique gems.

The Paspaley Archive is open daily.
