The Month of the Pearl
June signifies the Month of the Pearl, a time when we celebrate the birthplace of Paspaley pearls and the start of our harvest season. To celebrate this special time, Paspaley boutiques hosted guests at a series of intimate events and unique experiences.
In Sydney, the new Oncore by Clare Smyth restaurant was the setting for the first dining experience of the month where guests were invited to view the Paspaley family’s private collection of exceptional pearls and taken on an immersive food journey, including a delicate dish of Paspaley Pearl Meat.
In Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Darwin, family members Christine Salter and Chris Paspaley delighted guests with the inspiration and innovative craftsmanship behind Paspaley’s Signature Collections.
For the first time our Master Stringer was also in our East Coast boutiques for a select period showcasing the art of the world’s most refined stringing technique to our clients in store.
Paspaley x The Art Gallery of New South Wales
In celebration of June, the Month of the Pearl, Paspaley proudly partnered with the Art Gallery of New South Wales, co-hosting two events including an evening of Pearls and the Baroque era.
The first Fearless event celebrated Women in the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes 2022, where the Art Gallery’s senior curator of exhibitions Jackie Dunn led a discussion with eight-time Archibald finalist, Tsering Hannaford and The Roberts Family prize winner, Wynne finalist and Archibald sitter, Sally Scales. Together they discussed women’s representation in the prizes, the relationship between artist and sitter, and the influences that shape their own practices.
Paspaley family member Mia Bracher welcomed guests to The Luxury Syndicate’s Pearls and the Baroque era evening. Celebrating Lunar New Year
In celebration of Lunar New Year Paspaley hosted an intimate Floral Masterclass in Perth with leading florist, FreakHaus.
On arrival to the boutique, guests were adorned in Paspaley pearls before making their way to the private dining room at Rockpool Restaurant where they were met with an abundance of red florals.
Following the Masterclass guests enjoyed a sumptuous lunch featuring Paspaley Pearl Meat.
Dive New Collection Launch
At the close of 2021, we launched our latest fine jewellery collection DIVE.
This year, the Paspaley team reimaged our launch celebrations with a series of intimate presentations across Australia.
On arrival guests discovered the stunning Dive collection in a unique jewellery display with a blue motif that spoke to the underwater beauty of the collection. Ropes, chains and diver helmets also encompassed the unique and captivating story of our divers' world beneath the sea.
Guests then enjoyed a sumptuous three-course lunch or champagne and canapés featuring Paspaley Pearl meat, while Paspaley family members shared their unique connection to diving spanning three generations and the inspiration behind the DIVE collection.
Celebrating Christmas at the Crown Sydney
This festive season, Paspaley and Crown Sydney have come together to create one of Australia’s most luxurious Christmas Trees in celebration of the hotel’s first Christmas in Sydney.
The tree is adorned with over fifty mother of pearl shells, 8,450 individual hand-wired pearl-inspired beads, 500 pearlescent Christmas baubles and topped with a spectacular star. Each mother of pearl shell was carefully drilled by hand in Paspaley’s Darwin Studio to create a hanging decoration.
Guests and visitors alike are able to view the Paspaley Christmas Tree in the lobby of the Crown Towers Sydney.
INTRODUCING DIVE BY PASPALEY
Dive is a tribute to our pearl divers who have explored the remote Kimberley coastline in search of the world’s finest pearls for generations.
Embracing the same intrepid spirit of adventurers who came long before them searching for shipwrecks loaded with Dutch guilders, our divers search for another elusive treasure: the wild Pinctada maxima oyster and the pearls they will create.
This collection features modern representations of ropes, chains, sharks and coins, to tell the unique and captivating story of the world beneath the sea.

In celebration of the Month of the Pearl, Paspaley partnered with prominent Australian stylist Mars Marsanic to host an intimate dinner for her clients in our flagship Sydney boutique.
On arrival, guests were adorned in Paspaley pearls before making their way to our Pearl Vault for an exclusive tour and viewing of the family's private collection of exceptional pearls.
Following the tour, guests enjoyed a sumptuous three-course dinner featuring Paspaley pearl meat. Paspaley Creative Director, Christine Salter shared the inspiration and innovative craftsmanship behind Paspaley’s Signature Collections.
