SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Known primarily as pearling pioneers, we hold the world’s most distinguished vertically integrated pearling operation; from the creation of the rarest and most valuable pearls, to jewellery design, luxury retail and wholesale.

People are our most valuable asset. Investment in our own staff and commitment to training and education make the Paspaley experience truly one-of-a-kind. Our success is a result of decades of dedication, investment and innovation.

SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability and environmental responsibility is important to Paspaley.

With over 20 farms dotted along more than 2,500km of the remote Kimberley coastline, pristine environmental conditions are critical for the creation of naturally beautiful pearls.

Our skilled divers collect our wild oyster quota by hand. Although logistically complex, this is an environmentally friendly and sustainable form of collection that causes no damage to the seabed.

Hand-collection of carefully regulated numbers of wild oysters has earned our industry an international reputation as a model of sustainability. Our third party certification from the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) was a world-first for the pearling industry. As an internationally recognised marine conservation organisation, the MSC’s science-based benchmark is the gold standard in independent certification.
