MONSOON CICADA
The First Call
Each year in the Kimberley, as the dry season gives way to the first rainfall, the land begins to awaken. Parched soil drinks deeply. Native wildflowers and luscious foliage spring to life in a sudden burst of vibrant colour.
Cicadas emerge from years of underground hibernation with vibrant song. It is a time of rebirth when the wild blooms, the rivers and billabongs swell - and our pearling fleet returns to shore.

Monsoon Cicada Earrings
Emerging to herald monsoons in Australia’s north-west, these earrings are a tribute to the cicada's song and nature's rhythm. The wings, pavé-set with white diamonds, can be styled open or closed, offering a new sense of wonder with every wear.

MONSOON CICADA PEARL PENDANT
Articulated wings, shimmering with white diamonds, open and close with a gentle touch, revealing or cocooning the precious pearl. A transformative silhouette that embodies seasonal renewal.
SIGNATURE MATERIALS

Our Pearls
Defining every Monsoon Cicada design is a pearl of extraordinary calibre. Sourced from Paspaley’s own Australian South Sea harvest, each pearl is hand-selected for its radiant lustre, refined silhouette, and generous size.
Our pearls carry with them the rhythm of the sea, the spirit of the monsoon, and the legacy of Australia’s master pearlers.

Diamond
Representing love and eternity, natural diamonds bring brilliance to the Monsoon Cicada. Hand-set across articulated wings, each stone captures the glimmer of rainfall as the monsoon arrives, illuminating the pearl beneath with life and light.

18K yellow gold
Evoking the warmth of the Kimberley earth after rain, 18K yellow gold glows with natural radiance. Its timeless hue mirrors the return of sunlight breaking through storm clouds, enhancing the lustre of the Australian South Sea pearl at the heart of each Monsoon Cicada.

18K white gold
Cool and luminous, 18K white gold reflects the clarity of freshly fallen rain and the renewal it brings. Its mirror-like surface provides an elegant contrast to the diamonds and pearl, echoing the purity and transformation of the monsoon season.
